Welcome everyone to this great proposal, where all the stations, proposals or initiatives under the name Radio Rebel and allies, come together to achieve a common goal, and that is to make the world a better place.

Radio Rebel, a community radio station based in Bogotá DC Colombia, is pleased to present this proposal for the creation of the Radio Rebel Network of Stations/projects. This initiative seeks to strengthen community communication in the national territory and allied countries through collaboration between broadcasters committed to education, innovation and social development.

Background

Las emisoras comunitarias juegan un papel fundamental en la promoción de la participación ciudadana, el acceso a la información y la construcción de tejido social. Sin embargo, muchas de estas emisoras enfrentan desafíos como la falta de recursos, la baja audiencia y la dificultad para acceder a capacitaciones y herramientas de producción.

Proposal

The Radio Rebel Radio Station Network is proposed as a solution to these challenges. Through collaboration between stations/projects/initiatives, the Network will allow:

Expanding the reach of our voices and content at a national and international level.

Sharing experiences, resources and knowledge between participating stations and initiatives.

Developing collaborative projects that benefit our communities.

Strengthening the identity and impact of community radio stations in Colombia and other countries, positioning all Radio Rebel radio stations as original alternative media working together.

Requirements to join the Network

To join the Radio Rebel Radio Station Network, stations must:

Be a legally constituted community radio station or project or certify that they are originally owned by legal representatives.

Commit to the principles of community communication.

Have regular programming with educational, innovative content of interest to the community.

Be willing to collaborate and share resources with other radio stations in the Network.
