Brief Biography
The Radio Rebel project was born in June 2019 as a means of expression in the Dominican Republic school, creating for the second time a mailbox of opinions on the musical genres of the students, teachers, administrators and workers of the institution, with this study it was invested time and dedication in creating a series of playlists for the reproduction of said songs in intermediate times such as the entrance and exit, change of classes and breaks giving the opportunity to listen to good music and encouraging the spaces to continue working and studying.
In 2020 we continued the project from home by creating the first motivational program called Convive con el Corazón with music broadcast live on YouTube.
Today we have the new project team led by the Renaissance, and we intend to expand more and more to reach the students of our community. At this time, two radio programs and a weekly program with a podcast on different daily and educational topics are under construction.
Now Radio Rebel is innovating in virtual media to reach every radio platform in the world so that they tune in to our best music programming schedule and on-air programs.
MISSION
Radio Rebel is a community service radio station, with a cultural and educational nature. It produces, transmits and promotes quality programming that contributes to the construction of citizenship and fosters intercultural dialogue. It is based on the values of cultural diversity, inclusion, democratic coexistence, freedom of expression, responsibility and information ethics for an open world.
VISION
Radio Rebel seeks to be a center of cultural production, a pillar in the consolidation of a public media system at the service of citizens, guarantor of the rights of the audience. That promotes and stimulates the creativity of radio youth and adults, vitality and social change, through a technological platform at the service of social needs and in accordance with an open and interconnected world.
